Cielos presents Primal Provocateur: Mystic Roots at Crazy Diamond

This Halloween, join us for a 3-day event to witness the grand resurgence of Primal Provocateur.

The Cielos team along with our partners Reborn Project & Imago Community bringing you a collaborative symphony of experiences centered around art, music and performances immersed in nature. We welcome you as we transform Crazy Diamond into a land of magic and mystery. We will embark on a journey of celebration and rituals as we honor the cycles of life, death, rebirth and manifestation.

As you step into the world of Mystic Roots, you will become an embodied character in our immersive ritualistic theater. Through art, divination, meditation, movement, reflective practices and guided experiences, we will co-create a collective journey with shared intentions.  

Follow as we travel through the various forms and frequencies including unparalleled DJ sets, live instruments and performances as each activation will embody its element, with entrancing visual shows and dance performances to capture our hearts and minds. Join us as we explore ways to re-examine our relationship with the natural world by incorporating the power of ceremony and the spirit of freedom.

Together in unity, we shall create a mystical container for over 300 participating guests, artists and performers to be.come.together.

For this second edition of Primal Provocateur, we welcome back the Reborn Project for our 2nd year with over 20+ hours performed by top Dj’s that include Armen Miran + 10 DJs including our CIelos resident DJ’s (listen to DJ’s Soundcloud below)

New addition this year, we welcome the IMAGO Sound Journey

 Praying and playing in an immersive ritual bridging the tradition and technology through interweaving of music with symbols, stories and dance. Progressive evolution of a conversation between the devoted instrumentalist virtuosos and shamans of the codes of electronica. A ritualized celebration set in a universe of multisensorial magic.

20+ Workshops, art, wellness & speakers:

• Workshops that include firewalking, fire performance, teachings and mysticism
• 10+ hours of live musical performances by the Imago tribe who will take us on a transformational sound journey
• Fire performances, tea offerings, storytelling, body painting, henna and more
• Breathwork, bodywork and other wellness activities
• Day pool party on Saturday & Sunday
• Sunset drum & fire performances
• Nourishment lead by Cielos' culinary team. We will feast together as a tribe breaking bread in our most primal essence

This event is an opportunity to radically express yourselves and come in full Halloween costumes.

We suggest purchasing tickets early as this will be a SOLD OUT event.

The following is included with your General Admission ticket, accommodations are separate:

• Three days & two nights with 60+ hours of music, workshops, programming & performances
• All meals during the weekend beginning with snacks & dinner on Friday and ending with Brunch Sunday programming experience. 
• Hot showers 
• Flushing toilets
• Common facilities, saloon, tipi, oasis pool, lounge, speakeasy, and a disco nap area. 
• Large fire pits for gathering
• Filtered water refill stations
• Morning coffee & tea

This is a BYOB event, come with your favorite libations.

Accommodation Options

We are featuring four accommodation options listed from free to expensive. IMPORTANT, you must purchase a ticket, and if you choose, an additional add-on for our glamping tents, please include who will be staying with you. 

Option # 1: Bring Your Own Tent

Option # 2: Glamping on Site

Our custom tents are set on raised decks off the ground or cozy earthed spaces, fully furnished with real mattresses, side tables, lamps and lights, windows, and more. 

We provide soft flannel and extremely warm sleeping bags for the winter, and duvets and cotton sheets for the summer. Limited availability, first-come-basis.  We suggest confirming these options asap as they will sell out fast.

Price is for three-night accommodations, per tent: 1 of 2 or 4 will purchase the tent, and let us know at checkout who you are sharing a tent with.

About Cielos Collective

Our mission is to create transformational experiences that allow participants to commune with nature and each other, embrace personal growth and reflection; and expand our perspectives through participatory art and learning.

Our site, Crazy Diamond, is nestled away on a 30+ acre private campground where we strive for the perfect balance between harmony with nature and a safe space for relaxation and reflection.

We at Cielos believe in the importance of coming together in nature with intention, to celebrate, and leave with a new sense of tribe and a place to call home.

Location and Weather

Crazy Diamond is located in the high desert, one hour north of Ojai, CA; 120 miles from LAX, and right outside of the stunning Los Padres National Forest. A vehicle is necessary. Please carpool where possible.

Due to its location, the historical temperatures are unpredictable. The averages in October range from highs in the low 80’s to the mid 40's at night. We will send out a care guide to help prepare you, but think burning man, layers, playa coats, and something warm to sleep in.
